Set-up key to out-driving your buddies
Every golfer wants to hit the ball further off the tee.
Unfortunately, an incorrect set-up position prevents many golfers from attaining this increased distance.
Here are a few tips to improve your set-up position and subsequently increase the power of your drives.
First, try tilting your spine, head and shoulders more behind and away from the ball. This increased leverage allows a golfer to create power and hit the ball further. Second, try closing your hips slightly. A closed stance at address leaves a golfer in a powerful position, while still allowing for a full and smooth swing.
Remember, there is nothing sweeter than out-driving all your golf buddies.
